(oops! 'Poitiers' was the old 'November' version - Thanks to Sharon Robinson for pointing this out to me!) The lists for November now loaded for the final time this month. I hope no-one follows my lead as the year slopes down towards the holiday, so does my ability to score! Must add to my 'New Year Resolutions' to stop the rot?

November 16th 2009 News.
Welcome to Tracy Boddy of Heugh of Heugh.
November 12th 2009 News.
It appears that the summer has really improved scores as the Berwick and Green Lane results will show. From Berwick the program picked up first scores for Ian Wakenshaw, Jonathan Frank, Brian Younger, Sandy Cox, Diane Thompson, Frazer Thompson, Julia Bowes and Steve Jackson. Then from Green Lane we have Andrew Cottage, Jason Henderson, Jerry Baird, Susan Cottage, Jim Smith, Liam Johnson, Peter Burn and Tracy Ellison. Keep it up! Similar in November and up you go! This year we welcome 'Princess Royal' and 'Eastcote House', both guest clubs for the cold winter season and we see that Mel Edgely and Pete Betley (Princess Royal) also teeter on that threshold of glory after the October scores! Current numbers indicate that the most popular division is Bosworth followed by Agincourt with Bridgenorth heady heights (Postmouth average equivalent of 550+) limited in numbers. good shooting over the coming three weeks and we'll all see what November brings? I try to be diligent but if you notice an error just let me know and it will be checked and rectified.
November 8th 2009 News.
Results are coming in at a steady pace and I have a few queries to sort out before the full lists are ready, however I've compiled things as they stand today. From those scores returned I can see the following league moves primed: from 'Princess Royal' Mel Edgely has scored above the promotion threshold. From 'Cleadon' Ann Lee has done the same. Connor Rathbone from Killingworth, Tom Higgin, Kira Charley both of 'Dragon', Neil Endicott shooting longbow, Loise Lambert, Janet Tebbutt, Jacqui Chilcott, Martyn Nesbit and Alex Nesbitt, all of Kirknewton have all sent a score above the 'promotion' threshold.
Also Peter Rynn of Dragon has come so close to posting a threshold score. Keep going! But what is a 'threshold Score'? The league monitors each score returned each month to see how the score compares to the threshold levels set for each division. If the returned score is outside the margin set for that division I get a warning from the program. IF, next month, another score is returned outside the limits set, then the archer moves division. Why not move immediately? Simple, I allow you to have an inspired shoot without effecting your entry division, but if you repeatedly shoot well, then you automatically promote to the division your scores warrant.
October 16th 2009 News.
Two full week-ends plus a Saturday to keep looking for that 'best score' for October. This week we welcome entries from Kirknewton and it's good to see multiples from one person for various bow types.
October 10th 2009 News.
Numbers are building for the league and we welcome a 'new' club. Princess Royal, although not based in the county have been included this year. I've posted the 'xls' pages with the names of all those who have already been entered although I know that many will come in later. We are not yet two weeks into the month and we have another three full weeks of opportunity before the first scores are due. If you belong to other clubs and are dithering over entering, it costs nothing and you can set your own challenges as you go along!
September 16th 2009.
The letters prompting for league entries have no been posted.
