Durham City Archers invites you to enter its World Record Status WA 18.

Morning session – assembly 9.30am, afternoon session – assembly 1.30pm. 10 minutes of practice will start no later than 5 minutes after the end of assembly.

WA Rules will apply.

Dress Code: Achery GB dress regulations as shown in Rule 307 will apply

Shooting will be in two details with timed ends of two minutes per detail. Shooting will be controlled with visual and auditory signals, with the auditory signals having priority.

Archers should not record their own scores; double-board scoring will apply.

All recurve and conpound archers will shoot on vertical triple spot target faces. All longbow and novice and junior barebow archers will shoot on single-spot 40cm faces.

All archers must be affiliated to Archery GB and may be asked to produce Membership cards.

Archers will be liable for drug testing and competitors approached to give samples must comply. If any archer refuses to give a sample, that refusal will be treated as a positive result. Entries from archers under 18 must be acknowledged by a parent/guardian to signify their consent to their child being drug tested if approached.

Juniors under 16 years of age must be accompanied by their parent/guardian/named adult whilst on the premises. Neither the Organisers nor the Judges can act as supervisors of juniors.

In view of the provisions of the Archery GB Protection of Children Vulnerable Adults Policy, anyone wishing to take photographs must register with the tournament organiser on the day.
