The DNAA Executive have considered the logistics of moving all DNAA events to the end of the outdoor season.
Many factors were taken into account, not least the lack of days remaining in the calendar during the outdoor season meaning that the 5 days un-allocated on the competition calendar meant that some would still have to be cancelled for 2020.
We also discussed the fact that some of the clubs hosting may not be allowed onto their venues for quite some time (being shared facilities), the availability and health of volunteers (including judges), comfort facilities, lack of practice for archers, accommodation and the ability to ensure that venues were large enough to ensure social distancing and Government guide lines were adhered.
It would not be fair due to the lack of available dates/volunteers to choose to put on some events and not others.
The decision has therefore been made to cancel all DNAA Events during the outdoor season to enable clubs to concentrate on getting their members and clubs shooting again.
Stay safe and well.
