Whitburn Archers are getting into the Halloween spirit with their Spooky Shoot on Saturday 31 October 2026 at Harton Sports Centre, South Shields.
Starting at 1pm, the afternoon will be packed with Halloween-themed archery fun while raising money for Rise Up for Cancer at South Tyneside and Sunderland Hospitals.
This year’s theme is “Back from the Dead” – and costumes are compulsory! Archers can enter individually or as part of a team, with prizes on offer for the best individual costume and best team costume.
This isn’t your usual competition round either. The Spooky Shoot is all about fun and games, so bring along a 20-yard sight mark and prepare for something a little different.
There’ll also be a “Nerves of Steel” challenge for anyone brave enough to give it a go… 👀
All funds raised from the event will go to Rise Up for Cancer, supporting South Tyneside and Sunderland Hospitals.
