Help Us Celebrate All That’s Great in DNAA

We all know DNAA is a most awesome archery association, full of amazing archers and volunteers who do incredible things all the time. Please help us celebrate the incredible things by SHARING. Achieved something wonderful in field, flight or clout? Want to say thank you to amazing volunteers your club couldn’t function without? Shot outside the county and brought home a load of bling? Want to share a club bio so other clubs know what makes yours unique / special? Smashed a record at club, county, regional or national level? Added an amazing new feature to your club or offering? Qualified as a coach or judge? You get the idea…. please share!
How? Tag the facebook page in your post and we’ll share it. Or email dnaaevents@gmail.com. And please include photos where possible. Thank you! 🏹

Club Bio – Tynedale Archers

Tynedale Archers was formed in February 2013 having previously been known as Allen-A-Dale Archers. Our small friendly club has a family atmosphere with members of all ages ranging from beginners level to experienced archers using barebow, recurve and longbows. Approximately 90% of archers shoot barebow

During the warmer months (April-October) we shoot outdoors on Sunday mornings from 10am and Thursday evenings from 6pm to late at St Joseph’s RC Middle School, Hexham, while during the winter we shoot indoors on a Friday evening from 6,30-8,30pm at Haydon Bridge High School.

The club has 3 qualified Archery GB coaches who can teach you all the skills necessary to become an successful archer and even enter competitions if you wish or maybe you just want to use archery as recreational pastime, whichever it is Tynedale Archers are there to guide along the way.

All new archers will be required to complete a beginner’s course. This course is set by Archery GB. No equipment is needed during the beginners course as the club will supply all new beginners the equipment necessary for the completion of the course and even for a short while after until you obtain your own if you do decide to join the club. If anyone is interested in our beginners courses which at present are held twice a year please get in touch via our Facebook page or by our contact page
