2023 British Field Championships

Last weekend saw Avalon Archers host the All British and Open Field Championships – and DNAA were ably represented by field enthusiasts Abby, Jared, Eleanor and Nate Thornton and Alex Wise.

Alex (Bowmen of Walker) took bronze for gents recurve. Nate won the under 12 junior boy section. And Eleanor took the junior lady title, shooting the red pegs as an under 18 and also setting two county records for U18 mixed field round (single and double)
The course was very difficult, making these achievements all the more impressive. HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to Alex, Nate and Eleanor – and thanks to all who represented DNAA 🏹

Outdoor Bosses Available

We are gradually moving over to lightweight solid foam for our indoor bosses. As a result we have a surplus of heavyweight outdoor bosses to store at Benfield.
We would therefore like to offer up to 6 of these bosses to any club who wants them for £10 each (apparently there is something legally problematic about giving them away).
We think they are old Ten Zone bosses for the purposes of replacement foam but we can’t be sure. They would need to collect them from Benfield, but we can supply the name of a reasonably priced van taxi service that we use to move them around.
All the foam and frames are currently in very good condition apart from one which has a bent tightening bolt which would probably need replacing when it is repacked.
